Hurst was born and raised in Western Kentucky where he started drifting at the age of 20. In 2017, he earned his Pro2 license through Midwest Drift Union with a twin-turbo LS 350z.
For his third year in Pro 2 he obtained a 2nd place overall finish and made his rookie debut in 2021 Pro with an impressive top 14 finish in 2023.
Hurst will be piloting a brand new Cadillac XLR for the 2024 Formula Drift Championship.
