My driving career started with internet videos and a dream.
I discovered drifting completely by chance. I had heard about it from friends before, but one day I stumbled across videos online — and instantly, I was hooked. The speed, the angle, the control… it was different from anything I had ever seen. In that moment, I knew I wanted to be part of it.
I started saving every dollar I could with one goal in mind: build my own drift car. After a long time of working and sacrificing, I finally bought my first car — a Nissan 240SX. I worked on that car day and night. All I wanted to do was drive. Every opportunity I had, I was at local events, practicing and learning.
After competing locally at the amateur level, I received an opportunity that changed everything — I was invited to compete alongside professional Japanese drivers. Driving in front of more than 10,000 people, I realized something very clearly: this wasn’t just a hobby anymore. This was my life. I was truly chasing my dream.
Since that moment, I’ve fully dedicated myself to drifting. I’ve earned five Dominican National Championships, and my journey has taken me beyond my home country and into the United States.
Since 2012, I have competed professionally in the Formula Drift Series — and in doing so, I became the first Latin and Dominican driver to finish top 7 in the Formula Drift Championship. That achievement didn’t just break barriers — it set a new standard for representation and possibility in this sport.
My goal remains clear: to win a Formula Drift Championship and inspire Hispanics and Latinos around the world to chase their dreams — no matter how impossible they may seem.
This is more than motorsport to me.
This is my purpose.
