Tyler Mayer is a drift driver from the Pacific Northwest and the owner of TMR Performance, a motorsports shop specializing in drift car builds, fabrication, and performance work. He began drifting nearly a decade ago after being inspired by grassroots car culture and drivers like Ken Block. What started with a Nissan S13 quickly evolved into a competitive pursuit as he transitioned from street drifting to organized track events. Mayer quickly found success in competition and has since become one of the top drivers in the Evergreen Drift series at Evergreen Speedway. He is a two-time Evergreen Drift Champion and originally earned his Formula Drift Pro license in 2021. At the time, Mayer chose not to pursue the opportunity because he felt he was not fully prepared for the level of competition. After continuing to develop both his driving and his program, Mayer earned his Formula Drift license again in 2025 and is now stepping onto the national stage with the experience and preparation he believes are necessary to compete at the highest level. Off track, Mayer runs TMR Performance, where he builds and prepares drift cars while also sharing drifting knowledge through content and coaching. He currently campaigns a Nissan S13 powered by a Toyota JZ engine platform as he continues pursuing success in Formula Drift.
