Tony Brakohiapa
Tony Brakohiapa has been a driver in professional motorsports for more than seven years. He's had success in the Formula Drift Championship, open-wheel Formula Mazdas, Karting Championships, and Sports Car & Sedan endurance racing such as the 25hrs of Thunderhill. When Tony isn't competing on the track, he is a lead instructor at the new Audi Sportscar Experience (featuring the R8) and Jim Russell Racing School (with new F3 Lola's) at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA. Tony has also worked as a driving coach for the American Le Mans and Rolex winning race team, The Racer's Group as well as various Ferrari Challenge Teams. Tony also has extensive experience with top car manufacturers such as Ferrari, Maserati, Ford, Dodge, Honda, Toyota, and Acura as their product specialist, lead driving instructor and TV commercial precision/stunt driver.
Tony is also a credited stunt driver in the movie The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift. Tony's 2009 season has started with a bang!...literally! Running on 7 cylinders on the final day of the Long Beach Formula Drift Round, Tony was able to keep the engine together long enough for a 6th place finish. Tony now sits Top 10 in the Championship after two rounds and is looking to improve on that now that he has all 8 cylinders back!
