Internationally Recognized Japanese Drifter Robbie Nishida, Takes US Drifting to New Heights of Competition!
Robbie Nishida, one of the premier drivers in Formula Drift began his Professional Drifting Career in 1998, racing in professional series in Japan and the Touge. From driving a AE86 Toyota Corolla, Nissan Silvia S14 and 350Z to now a Nissan GTR, Robbie Nishida has professionally competed in a wide array of platform. Also competing professional in Japan and the United States, Robbie Nishida brings a fusion of both driving styles making him one of the premier and versatile Drifters in the World.
This Formula Drift season, Nishida debuts the eagerly awaited Nissan GTR, powered by Dynamic Autosports and tamed on Hankook Ventus R-S3 rubber. Nishida finished eighth in overall points in 2009, marking his most successful season in Formula Drift to-date.
Some of his career highlights include placing first at a Battle Magazine single drift event at Nikko Circuit and finishing sixth in a Battle Magazine Championship Drift round, also he has completed several Formula Drift events in the Top 8, with a few podium finishes. |
