Andy started driving and drifting on the canyon roads of the Santa Monica Mountains. Andy purchased his 350Z in November of 2004, took it straight to Mulholland highway and started to really learn how to drift. Andy attended his first sanctioned drift event in March of 2005 and continued to attend all the Drift Days and Just Drift events (after they got started) that he could. He still continues on as an instructor for Just Drift when he can make their events. He quickly earned a Most Improved Driver award at a Just Drift event, 2nd place (Just Drift Amateur competition) and various top 8's and top 16's at amateur competitions. Andy qualified for his D1 license in February of 2005 at Irwindale Speedway in his stock 350Z. He earned his Formula DRIFT license in May of 2006 about one year after he earned the D1 license. Andy earned 2 Top 32 finishes in Formula DRIFT 2006 (Sonoma, CA and Wall, NJ) and 2 in 2007(Irwindale and Sonoma) and as well as a Top 8 in D1USA at Englishtown, NJ. This year Andy comes back to Formula D with a LS3 powered BMW E30 and is looking to making his mark on the series once again. With the support of friends, family, and a few sponsors, Andy is looking forward to showing what the E30 is capable of at his hands.
