The 2011 Season Leads Mats to Formula DRIFT Mats began the season with intentions to climb the ranks to the top of the DMCC pro charts. After a few rounds and hitting a wall, literally, Mats, his team and sponsors decided to leave the DMCC series to compete in the Formula DRIFT Pro AM series called ‘Hold the Line’ in New Jersey. With a successful season completed and a 2nd place finish at Formula Drift’s Pro-am series Hold the Line, the team was granted a Formula Drift pro series license. There have only been a handful of Canadian drivers to earn their Formula Drift Pro License. The 2012 season was spent getting ready for FD, the team focused on getting more seat time and to prepare for the 2013 season. Mats Baribeau will be the 5th Canadian to compete in Formula Drift!
