I am from Sunnyvale CA and the owner of Garage 45, a drifting performance shop located in San Jose CA. At a very early age I was surrounded by cars and racing, but it wasn’t until 2003 on deployment to Japan while serving in the US Navy that I was first introduced to drifting. I immediately took a liking to the sport and knew that I had to try it. I attended my first drift event in 2005 and was immediately hooked. In 2008 I competed in my first Formula Drift pro-am series. Unfortunately that same year my father was stricken with cancer. A week prior to the championship event where I would battle to earn a Formula Drift pro license I received word that my father’s condition had worsen, and that I needed to return home. I did not compete in the series finale, Instead I sold my drift car and equipment to return home to California to be with my father and family. In 2010 my father won his battle with cancer, and that same year I returned to drifting. In 2012 I competed in a full season of Thunder Drift Pro Am series, where I placed 2nd in points overall and was awarded a Formula Drift license for the 2013 season. I am motivated and driven to never stop drifting again, and I’m ready and honored to compete against the best drifters in the world.
