Henry Schelley
Born and raised in Long Beach California, Henry Schelley grew up playing Micro machines, Lego’s and Hot wheels with his cousins. As he got older he picked up his first car, an FC Mazda RX7 and from there his addiction for fast cars grew. Henry began testing his cars in local mountains, but quickly opted for a safer alternative and began attending Just Drift events based out of Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond California. As his skills improved, Henry began sharing his knowledge and became an instructor for Just Drift. Staying true to his grassroots nature, Henry's street registered RX-7 drove to the track in 2005 to compete in his first professional event, D1 USA vs. Japan.
Currently, while working for AEM Henry couldn't stay out of the game too long. In 2008, he returns for the complete tour of Formula D driving the Federal Tyres S13 that he built. He continues to push the envelope massaging an old retired KA24DE back to life, force feeding 300 hp with a diesel like power band; he hopes he can make a statement for 2008. |
