Dan Willie

Daniel Willie is a 29 year old male who has an extensive background in engineering. In 2002, he graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with an engineering degree and used his knowledge to open Batlground later that year. His degree provides him with an excellent understanding of all aspects of tuning and maintaining race vehicles. From internal combustion engines to heat exchangers, Daniel has the knowledge to keep the Batlground vehicles running at the top of their game. Daniel’s daily job consists of being the chief engineer and owner of Batlground, where he works on custom fabrication and dyno tuning each and every day.

While driving, as well as managing the Batlground drag racing program in 2002-2003, Daniel was able to pilot his Toyota Supra deep into 8 second quarter mile times. Now with amateur drifting experience in 2004, professional experience in the 2005 Formula D Drifting series, a full professional drifting demonstration schedule in 2006, and finished 4th place in NOPI Drift 2007 season championship, Mr. Willie is a well seasoned driver and team owner. By utilizing all of his driving, managing and engineering experience Daniel has the ability to run a world class motorsports team.
