Four professional drivers; Joon Maeng, Justin Pawlak, Matt Powers, and Michael Essa from the world class Formula Drift Championship will make us feel the rage of their cars drifting across the esplanade of the Figali Convention Center, in solo and tandem demonstrations. The Formula DRIFT Pro Am National Championship Event will be held on November 21 at the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale and tickets are now on sale for only $10.00!

The top amateur drivers from the United States and Canada will meet at the infamous “House of Drift,” at the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale. This will be the first time that a Pro Am competition of this level will take place at this location. The rising stars of drifting will be discovered and compete for their chance to earn a Formula DRIFT Pro Championship license.

The Team Drift teams began practice yesterday during the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.  A couple cars had a rough start with Pat Mordaunt spinning out and Matt Powers close behind t-boning Mordaunt on the passenger side. Both drivers are ok, but Powers may not be able to compete this weekend due to damage to his car.
