Ryan Kado Racing Signs With Nexen Tire

I am proud to announce that RKR has partnered with Nexen Tire for the 2012 Formula Drift season. Ryan will be running the Nexen N9000 tire in the front and the Nexen N6000 tire in the rear of the 350z. Nexen tire has been a prominent competitor in the Formula Drift series and we are excited to be part of the Nexen team alongside Odi Bakchis and Kyle Mohan. Ryan recently signed with Forged Racing as a title sponsor and now Nexen Tire will round out the program for the 2012 Formula Drift season. Here’s the first look at Ryan’s new setup for 2012 with the Forged Racing/Nexen Tire 350z.

Behind the Scenes at Formula DRIFT Tech Day

Today Formula DRIFT held their annual Tech Day at Source Interlink’s office in Irvine, CA. Many competition vehicles were previewed to the fans that attended as they received their tech inspection before the start of the season. Formula DRIFT champion Dai Yoshihara also made a brief appearance and will be selecting a car from the collection of fan vehicles to receive his signature series wheel. One highlight was the much anticipated preview of Daigo Saito’s Lexus SC430. The excitement for the season opener is growing as we get closer to Round 1: Streets of Long Beach on April 6-7. Patrick Mordaunt Teams Up with APEX Integration

Redondo Beach, CA – based PM Racing and driver Patrick Mordaunt are proud to announce their partnership with APEX Integration for the 2012 Formula Drift season. A’PEXi has always been a leader in high performance components for racers, driving enthusiasts, and has supported PM Racing since the beginning of Patrick Mordaunt’s career. “We are thrilled about this collaboration and opportunity to witness the potential of Patrick Mordaunt’s progression in his career,” said A’PEXi. Mordaunt will drive the recently upgraded A’PEXi Lexus SC430 that previously competed in the 2010 Formula Drift season. Mordaunt said, “I’m excited to partner with an experienced team like A’PEXi and am looking forward to driving their Lexus SC 430 for the 2012 Formula Drift season”.
